A special TADA (Terrorist And Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act) court on Friday has pronounced its judgment and found Abu Salem and Mustafa Dossa found guilty in the 1993 Bombay serial blasts.
The gangster Abu Salem among five accused: Firoz Abdul Rashid Khan, Mustafa Dossa, Riaz Siddiqui, Karimullah Sheikh and Tahir Merchant were found guilty by a special TADA court in connection with 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case.
The other accused Abdul Qayyum who was charged for delivering weapons to the Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt was reportedly discharged by the court.
On March 12, 1993, a series of 13 blasts shaken the Mumbai citizens leaving 257 people to death and more than 700 injured. It was reported that the bomb blasts was masterminded by underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
