8 years of 26/11 Mumbai Attacks

No one can ever forget horrific series of attacks that took place eight years ago on November 26 in Mumbai in which 164 people killed and over 300 were injured.

Horrific attacks had stunned the city as 10 members of Lashkar-e-Taiba carried out a series, shooting and bombing attacks which had lasted four days across different regions in Mumbai.

Country had experienced the most lethal attack in the history of nation. No one has forgotten the attack and the city is so full of high hopes, energy and so many dreams that every person cherishes everyday.

“Mumbai is full of life” even after such a massive terror attack that could not stop the city and spirit of Mumbai. And that’s the glory of life which teaches us to deal with everyday’s situation.

People are enjoying their lives be it weekend’s party/concerts/shows or commuting everyday in local or purchasing groceries from the local market. People across the country gave tribute to those who lost their lives in terror attack.

No doubt, the security forces and the police showed exceptional courage by killing 9 terrorists and arrested one alive but the whole operation took around 60 hours and number of people had lost their lives. Ajmal Kasab was captured alive and hanged four years later on November 21, 2012.

After 8 years, looking back to those days, no one can identify any physical evidence of the attack, but when people think about the incident it’s still scary and leave goosebumps.

However, time heals everything and so this was an unforgettable incident.
