Aarushi murder case: Talwars Acquitted by Allahabad High Court

In a recent development, after long nine years, Rajesh and Nupur Talwar were allegedly acquitted by the Allahabad High Court in the Aarushi Talwar-Hemraj murder case.

The dentist couple was booked on the charges of killing their daughter Aarushi in 2008.

It was reported that Talwar’s 14-year-old Aarushi and the domestic help keeper Hemraj was found dead in their home in Noida near Delhi in the year 2008.

In the year 2013, Talwars were sentenced to life in prison by a special CBI court. Currently, Talwars are serving their life term in prison in Dasna jail in Ghaziabad.

In the year 2014, the Talwars moved to the Allahabad high court and allegedly challenged the conviction.

The court said in its judgment that the Talwars could not be convicted based on suspicion.

It was discovered that the court said that the CBI failed to prove that Talwars has killed their daughter and domestic help keeper Hemraj.

Although, the mystery remains the same and gave a question mark over the identity of the killers of 14-year-old Aarushi, and the domestic help keeper Hemraj.

Sources said that the CBI is expected to challenge the verdict in the Supreme Court.
