Agartala: Rajdhani Express to New Delhi, will start from today

Agartala-Anand Vihar Rajdhani Express train will flag off from Agartala railway station today.

Railway officials said in a statement that, “The train will be flagged off by the Rajen Gohain, Minister of State for Railways”.

Pranab Jyoti Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) said in a statement, “Agartala-Anand Vihar Rajdhani Express train would be flagged off from Agartala railway station on October 28 by Union Minister of State for Railways, Rajen Gohain. Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy would be the Chief Guest of the programme”.

The total distance it will cover will be 2,413 km.

It was reported that the  Rajdhani Express from Agartala to Delhi will run at the speed of  59 km/hour.

It is the newly Rajdhani Express, which will officially flag off today but will be started running from November 6, an official said.

It will stop at stations which include Mughal Sarai, Guwahati, Kanpur Central, New Jalpaiguri Junction and Badarpur junction.

The total duration the train will take to cover is 40 hours and 50 minutes.

It was learned that the Tripura Rajdhani Express will only run once a week.
