Bhartiya Janta Party youth wing leader of Bengal, Yogesh Varshney offers a reward of Rs 11 lakh “for cutting off the head” of the state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Varshney’s remark comes a day after when state police lathi charged people during Hanuman Jayanti procession in Birbhum district of west Bengal.
Youth leader alleged Mamata Banerjee, that she never allows Saraswati Puja celebrations and fairs during Ram Navami.
He accused the state government of supporting only Muslim community.
The police had refused permission for any rally or procession in Suri region despite this people carried out a Hanuman Jayanti rally raising slogans of “Jai Sri Ram”. Though, organizers assured they will not carry any arms or batons during hanuman Jayanti procession.
However, to disperse the mob police lathi charged on them in which several people got injured badly.
The incident comes into the limelight after days of Ram Navami procession in which West Bengal BJP leader, saw people carrying swords, batons and other arms.
