Blue Whale challenge: Another death due to killer game in Lucknow

In yet another incident of death due to the killer game, a 13-year-old student of Class VIII from Lucknow allegedly committed suicide on Thursday.

The victim was identified as Aditya who hails from Lucknow’s Indira Nagar.

It was discovered that the body of the child was found hanging in his room in Indira Nagar, Lucknow.

Aditya told the police that from last one week he was playing the killer game Blue Whale challenge on his phone.

It was reported that the child was supposed to go for a birthday party, but he allegedly locked himself in his room and hanged himself.

Following this Sulkhan Singh, Director General of Police has urged the officials to take efforts contacting the school authorities so that it can be ensured that children are prevented from playing the deadliest game.

The death toll is reportedly increasing by each passing day. This is not the first incident which has come to notice from the state. Prior to this, a 13-year-old student from Uttar Pradesh’s Hamirpur district committed suicide by hanging herself in her house.

Although, the Lucknow Police is still investigating into the matter.

However, the child’s body has been sent for the post-mortem.
