In the recent development, Supreme Court has termed the online game- Blue Whale challenge as a national problem.
The Supreme Court on hearing a plea on the deadly Blue Whale challenged Game on Friday.
The apex court has directed that both national and other private news channels must create an awareness about the killer game by educating its hazards.
The supreme court asked Doordarshan and other private channels to help people in creating an awareness about the game.
The bench who was hearing the case said the broadcasters should air the programme during the prime time.
The order was passed by the Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justice AM Khanwilkar and Justice DY Chandrachud.
Following this, it was reported that more than 8 children in the age group of 12-19 years have taken their lives while playing this game in the period of two weeks.
It was reported that the matter would again be heard on November 20.
Previously, in August, it was learned that Delhi High Court asked Facebook, Google, and Yahoo to ban the deadliest game on their platforms.
