Delhi: 19-year-old gang-raped by BPO Drivers, accused arrested

In a shocking incident, a 19-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped and thrashed by two men near Delhi-Haryana border on Saturday night.

It was reported that the victim was abducted from Gurgaon and was sexually assaulted by two men, a police official said.

The men later dumped the girl outside the Dwarka metro station on Saturday night.

An official said the two accused worked as cab drivers in a Multi-National Company in Gurgaon.

The Police officer said in a statement, “After one person got down near Rajokri border area, the vehicle started to roam around in areas near Delhi-Haryana border. The accused then took her to an isolated place, thrashed and raped her and threw her out of the car near Dwarka metro station”.

It was learned that the girl works in a Gurgaon mall and lives in east Delhi.

The Official said, “She left the mall around 10.30pm and walked down to Shankar Chowk, where she took a cab contracted by a BPO to drop employees home”.

The woman later called her friends and reportedly lodged an FIR at Dwarka Sector 23 police station.

In her complaint, she said the men started touching her inappropriately. When she objected, they thrashed her and sexually assaulted her.

Following the incident, Police conducted a raid and allegedly arrested the two accused in connection with the case.
