Delhi: CM Arvind Kejriwal’s stolen car recovered in Ghaziabad

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s blue Wagon R car, which was stolen from Delhi Secretariat on Thursday, has been allegedly found from Mohan Nagar area in Sahibabad police station in Ghaziabad.

It was reported that the car was traced in an abandoned condition from Ghaziabad.

The police have recovered a sword from inside a vehicle.

The car was stolen from outside the Delhi Secretariat on Thursday.

Delhi Police in a statement said, “A car of the same make color and model has been traced in Mohan Nagar Ghaziabad. We are verifying the engine and chassis number”.

It was learned that Delhi Police had received CCTV footage of the incident in which it was reported that the accused is visible in the footage.

Arvind  Kejriwal said in his letter to Mr. Baijal which reads,”My Wagon-R car was stolen outside the Delhi Secretariat. My car getting stolen is a small matter. But the fact that it went missing outside the Delhi Secretariat reflects the rapidly deteriorating law and order situation in Delhi”.

Following this, police officials have started circulating the pictures of the accused in the different areas in Delhi.

A team of police also visited the Sotiganj market in Meerut where stolen cars are dismantled and their spare parts are been sold in the market.
