Delhi: Infant dies due to failure in oxygen supply

A new born baby died in a government hospital due to the failure in oxygen supply on Saturday.

The family claimed the baby was born on Monday at Rao Tula Ram Hospital, where the baby’s condition declines of a sudden due to breathing issues.

Following this, the family called the doctors, but it was discovered the baby already died.

Brijesh Kumar Singh, Father of newborn said in a statement, “Our baby had breathing issues. Doctors were called. But it was too late”.

Although, a complaint has been filed with Delhi Police and body was sent for post-mortem.

However, the hospital authorities have denied the allegations and said in defense that the cause of the death was breathing issues.
