A Delhi man allegedly raping a widow and her minor daughter, the accused came to their home during an evening and forcibly raped her.
The widow told police she met the accused, Ashish a resident of Amar Colony in Delhi, at a Gurgaon market 25 days ago and during the conversation, she shared her address with him when he asked.
The lady, who is a widow, told police that she living in a rented accommodation in Vishnu Garden along with her 15-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son.
“The next day, Ashish visited her residence in the evening when her children were playing outside and raped her,” the victim said in her complaint.
The woman also told that over the next few days, the accused raped her multiple times and even made an objectionable video. Ashish later raped her 15-year-old daughter in her mother’s absence and made her video as well. The accused used to blackmailed and warned her that he would upload the video on the Internet, the woman said.
The victim lodged a complaint with the police on Thursday night and a case was registered at Rajendra Park police station, said assistant commissioner of police Manish Sehgal, a spokesperson of the Gurgaon police. He said the case against the accused was registered under sections 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code, as well as section 4/12 of the Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act, 2012.
“The accused has been arrested and the police are investigating the matter,” he said.
