Delhi: Metro to run more trains from Thursday

Following the alarming pollution levels in the city, the Delhi Metro has decided to run extra train trips on various routes starting from Thursday.

The Delhi Metro has decided to increase the frequency of the trains, to help a large number of passengers on several routes, the public transporter said on Wednesday.

It was reported that the Airport Line and Red Line will now witness a number of train trips.

It was believed that the 36 extra train trips will be seen on Violet Line (Kashmere Gate-Escorts Mujeser). Meanwhile, on the Blue Line (Vaishali/Noida City Centre-Dwarka Sector 21) will see 20 trips in the further development.
