Delhi police arrested TTV Dinakaran, AIADMK leader and nephew of party chief Sasikala, along with his aide Mallikarjuna over his connection in EC bribery case on Tuesday, midnight.
Dinakaran will be under seven days of custody. He has been charged under IPC sections 170, 120b (Criminal Conspiracy) and 8 (Prevention of the Corruption Act) in the police case.

According to Delhi’s Crime Branch Dinakaran was trying to bribe the Election Commission of India (EC) for AIADMK’s two-leaf symbol which was suspended a few days ago.
Last week, state police arrested an alleged middleman namely Sukesh Chandrasekhar from Delhi’s Hyatt hotel and recovered Rs 1.3 crores from him.
