Delhi school served dead rat in meal, 9 students admitted to hospital

In today’s phase, it is a matter of concern for hygiene and sanitation of schools where the school is serving meals which are not standing on the level of cleanliness.

In a recent horrific incident, it was discovered that at least nine students of a government-run school were hospitalized on Thursday after a dead rat was found in their mid-day meal.

The students from Government Boys’ Senior Secondary School in Deoli area were rushed to the Madan Mohan Malviya Hospital following their complaint of stomach pain after having the mid-day meal which was being served by the school.

Manish Sisodia, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister visited the children who were admitted to the hospital and took twitter to express his concern by tweeting, “A rat has been found in mid-day meal in a government school. Nine students were rushed to the hospital. I have spoken to the doctors and the children are fine”.
