Delhi police on Tuesday arrested Delhi-based two graphic designers for allegedly printing fake currency notes of RS 500 and Rs 2000.
Police have arrested the accused Krishan Bharadwaj 25, designer and his friend Ashish 23, from the south Delhi Najafgarh area on Tuesday.
The police officer said in a statement, “Bhardwaj has worked as a teacher in the past and has sound knowledge of computers. He seems to be quite skilled”.
Krishan Bharadwaj who is a resident of Najafgarh is a graphic designer by profession has lost his job after the demonatisation hits the nation. Bharadwaj was arrested for printing the fake currency notes worth Rs 6.5 lakh . Police has seized Rs 610,500 as the total amount of fake currency.
Surender Kumar, DCP South West said, “Accused have successfully spent fake currency of worth rupees 20,000 locally. Further investigation is underway”.
