Dera Sacha Sauda: Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh rape case verdict today

Ahead of the special CBI court’s verdict Haryana government has arranged high securities management following the rape case filed against controversial Godman-turned-actor and Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.

Following the special court verdict in a sexual exploitation case which will be coming today against Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim, around 57,000 police have been deployed in the area.

Northern Railway official said in a statement, “At least 201 trains heading to Haryana on Friday have been canceled in view of the law and order situation in the state”.

The verdict is in the special CBI court is expected to come around 2:30 pm today.

Although Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has told his followers to stay calm.

Following this, internet along with bus and other transport facilities has been suspended for 72 hours.

Trouble So far

The rape allegations against the self-styled god man and the Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh came to light in the year 2002.

It was believed that Dera sadhvi wrote a letter to then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee (at that time) quoting she was allegedly raped by the Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.

Along with the sexual exploitation case, Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is also facing other two murder cases trial.

The manager of Dera Sacha Sauda Ranjit Singh was allegedly killed by the self-styled Godman’s followers after he asked them to do so.
