On Wednesday, Former Madhya Pradesh CM SunderLal Patwa passed away following a heart attack at Bansal hospital in Bhopal.
Mr Patwa, 92, suffered heart stroke in the morning, following this he was immediately taken to the hospital.
He was one of the prominent leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and he served two times as a Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. His first term lasted for two months in 1980 and second term started from 1990 to 1992.
Sunder Lal Patwa was born on November 10, 1924 at Kukdeshwar in Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh. He was considered as political advisor of Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also condoled the death of senior BJP leader. In a tweet, he said “Saddened on the passing away of Shri Sunder Lal Patwa. He was a hardworking and dedicated leader whose good work as MP CM will be remembered.”
PM Modi, also said “Shri Sunder Lal Patwa strengthened the BJP and was always admired by Karyakartas”.
