Ex Indian naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav, who was detained by the Pakistan Police in March last year on charges of spying and planning for subversive activities in the country, has been sentenced to death.
The spokesperson of Pakistan Armed Forces, Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor informed about the news on twitter. He tweeted “Indian R&AW agent #Kulbushan awarded death sentence through FGCM by Pakistan Army for espionage and sabotage activities against Pakistan.

Earlier, last year the Pakistan army released confessional video featuring Kulbhushan Jadhav, in which he claimed he was an Indian Navy officer.
Following the issue India has endorsed Jadhav as a former Indian Navy officer and said he was not connected to government thereafter.
