After the hearing of the 2G Spectrum scam case on Tuesday, A special court in New Delhi said that it would deliver its final adjudication on December 21
Extraordinary Judge OP Saini, who is dealing the cases identified with the 2G spectrum scam over 3 years, dismissed the hearing on Tuesday, however, set the date for articulating the judgment in maybe the biggest corruption case in autonomous India, for December 21.
Since April 2011, Saini has been hearing the three defilement cases – two by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and one by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) – that have emerged for the sheer extent of alleged monetary loss to the government treasury.
“I am not a judge, I am a law-abiding citizen, I faced trial and have faith in the judiciary,” ANI quoted A Raja as saying after leaving the Patiala House Court.
The key names associated with the scam include former union minister for telecom A Raja and DMK MP Kanimozhi. The other charge of the case includes previous telecom secretary Siddharth Behura, previous private secretary of Raja, promoters of Swan Telecom, managing director of Unitech Wireless (Tamil Nadu) Ltd, three senior officials of Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Groups and in addition Kalaignar TV’s executives.
