Former Union Minister Sanwar Lal Jat dies at 62

Former Union Minister Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Sanwar Lal Jat from Ajmer passed away on Wednesday morning.

It was reported that in July former union minister collapsed during a party meeting which was headed by Party President Amit Shah after which he was rushed to the Jaipur’s Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital. Following this, he was shifted to AIIMS in Delhi.

After being in the coma for last one week, Former Union Minister Sanwar Lal Jat died at around 6.15am on Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi moved to twitter and wrote, Anguished by the demise of… Sanwar Lal Jat. This is a big loss for the BJP and the nation. My condolences”.
