As per the recent reports, an 8-year-old accidentally shoots himself while clicking a selfie in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad area.
The victim was identified as Junaid, Police said.
It was reported that the victim was playing with a gun while the incident took place. The victim, who was identified as Junaid along with his friends at his residence in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad area, was taking a selfie with the gun which he bought from his neighbor.
While taking the selfie Junaid accidentally pulled the trigger and the bullet hit’s his head, Police said.
A Police officer said in a statement, Junaid’s neighbor Kale was in the business of illegal gun.
Police have suspected that Junaid has brought the gun from his neighbor to take a selfie.
Victim’s family has claimed that Kale was dunked when the incident took place.
The boy was immediately rushed to the GTB Hospital in Delhi.
Reports suggested that the victim’s family has claimed that Kale has allegedly asked for a packet of cigarettes from a nearby shop but the Junaid refused to offer him, following this, Kale shot the child.
However, following the incident, Junaid has lost his right eye vision.
