Soon after the meeting, which took place between Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with Pakistan counterpart Nawaz Sharif, India announced to release 11 Pakistani prisoners.

After a casual meeting with Pakistan counterpart Nawaz Sharif in Astana during SCO summit, India will now release 11 Pak civil prisoners after they have completed their sentence.

Although, earlier in last week India had released 2 kids who were identified as Ali Reza (11) and Babar (10) who claimed that they had accidentally crossed the border.

It was discovered that this step came at the time when India is fighting a legal battle at the International Court of Justice over the death sentence of Kulbhushan Jadhav, which was ordered by the Pakistani military court.
