Government of UAE seized Dawood Ibrahim’s assets worth Rs 15,000 Crore

The UAE government has confirmed the report which claims that underworld don Dawood Ibrahim properties worth Rs 15,000 Crore has been seized by them on Tuesday.

But the report didn’t follow any official verification into this matter.

The party tweeted “Major diplomatic success of PM, Modi: One of India’s most wanted criminals, Dawood Ibrahim’s properties worth Rs. 15,000 crore seized in UAE”.

BJP tweeted with a graphic, “Master stroke diplomacy by PM Narendra Modi hits at the right place. Prime Minister had handed over the list of his (Dawood’s) assets to the UAE government during his 2015 visit and demanded action”.

However, on Tuesday Home Minister Rajnath Singh quoted that, the government trying its best to bring back Dawood Ibrahim and given a surety that India’s most wanted mafia will be soon be arrested and brought back to India.

Dawood Ibrahim is a Mumbai-based crime lord who headed his crime syndicate D-company which was founded in Mumbai. He is currently on the wanted list of Indian fugitive. Ibrahim had masterminded the 1993 serial bomb blasts in Mumbai in collaboration with the Tiger Memon. He is also accused of money laundering, extortion and developing Hawala systems within India.

It is said that after the 1993 serial bomb blast attack, he fled the country and settled in Dubai in the early 90’s and has been involved in real estate business and holds a very large amount of properties which is located in Bur Dubai, Jumeirah and Jumeirah Lake Towers.

The Government of the United States of Arab has confirmed his links with the Al Qaeda.
