Gujarat Election Results 2017: BJP won the battle, left congress behind

As per the recent reports, BJP leads the ladder and made an emphatic victory in the state and left the rival party Congress behind to win the state assembly election.

Following the verdict which was announced on Monday afternoon, showed the green flag to the BJP in both the seats.

With this, BJP rise again in the Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, where most of the states are colored in saffron.

While reacting to the BJP’s victory in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, Union minister Smriti Irani said in a statement, “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar”.

Adding further to this she said, “It is cause for celebration. This is a victory of development, of the leadership of Amit Shah…It is a win for our governance and organization”.

It was learned that both the parties faced the tough competition, where Chief Minister Vijay Rupani won with a margin of more than 54,000 votes in Rajkot West.

On the other hand, deputy CM Nitin Patel got a victory in Mehsana.

In the year 2012, Bharatiya Janata Party won 119 seats in the 182-member Assembly, while on the other hand, Congress won 57.
