Congress Leader Ahmed Patel snatches the win from the rival Party BJP in Rajya Sabha elections in Gujarat.
It was reported that the Congress leader Ahmed Patel is returning to the Rajya Sabha for the fifth term by winning the third seat.
Although, it was leant that the other two seats were won by the BJP Party president Amit Shah and union minister Smriti Irani.
It was believed that BJP Party chief Amit Shah has made his debut in the parliament where on the other hand, union minister Smriti Irani has won the other seat by 46 votes.
“This is not just my victory. It is a defeat of the most blatant use of money power, muscle power and abuse of state machinery”, Ahmed Patel wrote on his Twitter account.
“BJP stands exposed of personal vendetta and political terror. People of Gujarat will give them a befitting reply in this year’s election”, he said in his another tweet.
