Gurugram: Indian women kabaddi coach attacked

Indian women coach and Padma Shri awardee Sunil Dabas was allegedly threatened by the unidentified man on Wednesday night.

It was reported that the Indian women coach was out for a walk with her father who is partially paralyzed at around 11 pm when she heard strange sounds and tried to stop few men trying to smash the main gate of the colony.

The incident took place on Wednesday night when unidentified men tried to demolish the entry gate of Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Gurugram.

It was learned that the men were trying to break the gate of the government office.

While speaking to the media she said, “I saw a group of men standing at the gate with a dumper, trying to break it. So I confronted them. But instead of answering to my queries, they tried to run me over. At first, I thought the man was driving away and would change direction, but then he was headed straight at me. I had to jump out of the way to escape”.

Following the incident, an FIR has been registered at Shivaji Nagar police station after the police officials received a complaint against the assaulter.

However, officials are investigating into the matter.
