The holy cave of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi is presently witnessing a heavy rush of devotees, which was calculated as 50,000 (approx) pilgrims visiting the holy shrine every day.
To manage the heavy rush Shrine Board has made special security arrangements.
Ajit Kumar Sahu, Shrine board’s Chief Executive Officer said in a statement, “Even as 40,000 to 50,000 yatris are arriving daily, the rush is created by this heavy flow of pilgrims”.
It was reported that 49,000 pilgrims had arrived at Katra since yesterday.
When recorded, it was discovered that a total number of 36 lakh pilgrims, from parts of the country, visited the holy cave of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi till June 10 this year.
