Hyderabad: 2 arrested for robbery and attempted to kill a journalist

The Cyberabad Police has allegedly arrested two men for attempted to kill a journalist and committing a crime at Budwel on Tuesday.

The arrested man was identified as Patla Nagaraju (28) who works as milk vendor, and Kodige Mallesh (35) who works as a labourer, Police said.

It was reported that Patla Nagaraju was among the arrested person who was working with the journalist.

The journalist  V Shivarama Krishna has registered a complaint with the Cyberabad Police quoting that around 2 am while he was sleeping in his house an identified person allegedly entered his house and attacked him with a spade causing injuries on his head.

Patla Nagaraju, who was working with the journalist managed to flee from the house, Police added.

A statement released by the Police reads, “Based on the confession of Nagaraju, police also nabbed Mallesh. It was revealed that Nagaraju offered Mallesh Rs 1 lakh for killing the victim and to share the property after committing the offense. Mallesh agreed to do so and went to the journalist’s house and committed the offense”.

However, the Cyberabad police has registered the case against the accused and arrested the journalist’s servant Patla Nagaraju from his house.
