Hyderabad: IAF trainee aircraft crashes, no causalities reported

As per the recent reports, an Indian Air Force training aircraft reportedly crashed near Keesara in Telangana on Thursday.

The incident took place near at Ankireddypally near Keesara district.

While talking to the media, Air Force said in a statement,  “At 1145hrs, a Kiran aircraft that left from Hyderabad’s Hakimpet Air Force Station for a routine training mission, crashed. Pilot safe”.

Although, no casualties have been reported so far.

It was discovered that the trainee aircraft took off from Hakimpet training academy in Hyderabad and was heading towards Keesra on its training round.

The pilot was identified as Aman Pande by the pilots.

Officials told the media that the pilot ejected himself safely before the crash.

The eyewitness told the reporters that they heard a heavy sound and in seconds flames erupted across the aircraft.

As soon the information was received, police officials were rushed to the spot.

It was reported that three people, including a pilot were on the flight at the time of the crash.

However, the Air Force officials are still investigating into the matter to find out the reasons of the mishap.
