India will have its First Madame Tussauds in Delhi

Madame Tussauds, one of the world’s biggest tourist attractions is all set to open its 23rd branch with its operator Merlin Entertainments in Delhi this June.

India’s first Madame Tussauds wax museum will set up at first and second floor of Regal Cinema building in Delhi’s heart Connaught Place. Museum will showcase a wide range of prominent icons across the world.

Usually, Madame Tussauds represents life-like wax figures, comprising 60 percent of global celebrities and the rest are local but by keeping Indian market in mind this time it will work on a different strategy. In India, it will feature 60 percent of local celebrities and 40 percent of global celebrities.

Museum will open with over 50 figures wax figures of famous personalities from the different industries including sport, music, history, film and TV.

The First look of Madame Tussauds Delhi , revealed life-like wax statute of Amitabh Bachchan, Lady Gaga and Marie Tussaud.
