Indian Air Force Officer Arrested for Sharing the Information to ISI Spies

Delhi Police arrested Indian Air Force officer on Wednesday for allegedly sharing the information to IAS spy.

The accused is identified as Arun Marwaha who is a para-jumping instructor also was working as a joint director, operations in IAF and is posted at the IAF headquarter in Delhi.

According to a special cell official, they had arrested Arun red-handed. Arun uses to click the pictures of the classified documents and send them to the ISI spies via WhatsApp.

Arun met with the two women on Facebook who is suspected as ISI spy and started chatting with them initially on Facebook and later they exchanged their WhatsApp no and started chatting on a regular basis which later turned to the intimate conversation among Arun and the women.

After gaining the Arun’s trust, women asked for some confidential classified documents information from Arun for which he broke the IAF rules and entered inside the IAF headquarter along with his phone which is completely prohibited in the headquarter premises.

According to the officials, Arun clicked the pictures of the classified documents and send the same to the women via WhatsApp. By adding in a statement officials said Arun has also accepted that he had already passed on the information about three new formations Defence Cyber Agency, Defence Space Agency and a Special Operations Division to the women.

As of now police has seized the Arun’s phone and had already arrested him and filed the FIR against him under section 3 and 5 of the Officials Secrets Act.

Arun was produced before the Delhi court, after which he has been sent to the police custody for the further interrogation for five days.
