Two terrorists were shot dead in an encounter on Tuesday, which occurred between security forces and militants in Bandipora district, Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the reports, a combined operation was launched by the security forces to ascertain the hidden militants.
If reports are to be believed, a BSF head was killed following three other army men reported injured on Monday. The firing began on Sunday and this is reported as the third ceasefire violation since Saturday.
Rai Singh, an army official from Haryana, got injured in cross-border shelling.
An army officer said, “Pakistani army resorted to heavy cross-border firing in the Rajouri sector, in which four of our soldiers have been injured”.
On Tuesday, Pakistani armed forces targeted Indian posts and the areas of Line of Control (LoC) in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
