There were reports of multiple grenade attacks by terrorists on security forces in Kashmir Valley on Tuesday after which a red alert has been sounded by the security forces in the state.
Militants mainly targeted Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camps and a police headquarters, bringing about wounds to no less than 13 security personnel, few of them are in critical condition.
They were taken to a hospital and the region around the camp was sealed by security forces to seize the terrorists.
Al-Umar Mujahideen and Jaish-e-Mohammad claimed responsibility for the attacks.
Earlier on June 5, four militants were killed in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir when they attempted to attack CRPF camp.
