Kolkata-bound GoAir flight from Delhi made an emergency landing in Kolkata after getting a bomb threat, which was later declared as a hoax on Tuesday.

It was reported that the pilot informed the ground authorities about a bomb threat.

Following this, the flight G8-127 was carrying  173 passengers and six crew members, allegedly landed at the Kolkata airport at around 9:37 pm.

It was learned that the threat was found on paper near the rear door of the aircraft.

The bomb squads were immediately called off for the check.

The pilot took the plane to an isolated bat at the airport after taking the security procedures which involve checking of the aircraft and passenger baggage.

It was later declared by the bomb threat assessment committee that the bomb threat was a hoax.

When media contacted the GoAir officials, they didn’t state any comment on this matter.
