In a shocking incident, a minor girl was allegedly gang-raped in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal, police officials said.

The incident took place near Railway tracks near GRP police station in Bhopal.

The minor was preparing for UPSC exam, the official said.

It was reported that the minor was allegedly gang-raped at Railway tracks near GRP police station when she was heading towards her home after attending the coaching class.

Police official told the media, all the four accused who were identified as Rajesh, Ramesh Mehra, Golu Bihari, Amar Chhotu are in judicial remand.

Deputy prosecutor officer (DPO) KK Saxena said in a statement, “Generally in gang rape cases, victim get mentally harassed and demoralized but here the rape survivor is very mentally very strong. We have sufficient circumstantial evidence, statement of the victim. All the report including DNA report, MLC report and soil report have been attached with challan”.

However, the case was registered against all the four accused under the sections of 376(D), 376(M), 376(N), 342, 347,201 of IPC.
