Maharashtra: 3.2-magnitude earthquake hits Thane

As per the recent reports, a magnitude of 3.2 earthquake, on Richter scale has shaken Thane and surrounding areas on Tuesday morning.

Indian Meteorological Department said the quake occurred at a depth of 10 km below the surface.

It was reported that the epicentre of the quake was calculated at latitude 19.8 degrees north and 73.1 degrees east, which falls in Thane region.

However, no casualties or the damage to the properties has been reported so far.
