In a shocking incident, a petrol pump owner was reportedly shot by unidentified men in south Delhi’s Malviya Nagar today.
It was learned that the incident took place 200 metres away from the Malviya Nagar police station.
Police officials, the incident took place at around 10:30 am in New Delhi’s Malviya Nagar today.
The victim was identified as Kamaljeet Sethi, said a police official.
It was reported that the Kamaljeet Sethi has suffered a bullet injury where his condition is awaited.
Although, the details of the incident are yet to be ascertained.
The incident occurred near Shivalik outside Federal Bank in Malviya Nagar.
It was reported that the Kamaljeet Sethi is an owner of a Petrol pump, where he was going to deposit 16 lakh in the bank when an unidentified man followed his car and attacked him and covered his face with a handkerchief.
Chinmoy Biswal, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) said in a statement, “The robber escaped on a bike with his associated after shooting at the businessman”.
Following this, the businessman is in critical condition and been admitted to AIIMS hospital.
