Man dies after being assaulted by Gau Rakshaks’s in Rajasthan’s Alwar district

Five men were allegedly attacked by the vigilante group namely Gau Rakshak after they suspected them of smuggling cows across the state.

Out of five victims, Pehlu Khan dies after suffering from severe injuries on his body on Monday.

Rajasthan police stated despite showing documents that they had bought the cows, gau rakshaks attacked them.

On Saturday evening, Gau rakshaks associated with the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal stopped four vehicles, near the Jaguwas crossing on National Highway 8, citing that they were illegally transporting the cows.

The vehicles were coming from Jaipur and bond to Haryana’s Nuh district. However , investigation is under process, following the incident the station house officer of Bahror, Ramesh Sinsinwar, told the Hindustan Times “We have registered a case of murder against six persons and 200 unknown people.”
