The god of cricket- Sachin Tendulkar, who is better known as master-blaster has celebrated his 44th birthday at his home ground Wankhede stadium during the IPL match which took place between Rising Pune Supergiant and Mumbai Indians on Monday evening.
It was a memorable moment for the ace cricketer as the whole stadium chants ‘Happy Birthday’ to the Sachin Tendulkar.
Sachin Tendulkar told the commentator Matthew Hayden speaking his heart out by stating, “This is really special. I thought we will cut the cake quietly. Never thought the whole stadium would be singing while I cut the cake”.
When asked about his feeling turning 44, he replied- “Being 44 is nice but also covering those 44 years (has been nice). My movie is probably coming out on May 26th and I have been busy these days to ensure how best it is launched and can’t believe I am 44″.
Master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar has completed his cricket career over two decades, in which the top-notch cricketer made his name written in the record book but has also won the hearts of his cricket fans.
Sachin Tendulkar is reportedly the only cricketer to play 200 Test matches and has made 100 centuries in the Test match and one-day format.
Giving so many wonderful memories in his entire cricket career the skillful cricketer has scored 18,426 runs in ODIs and in Tests, he chalks up 15,921 runs.
