Mayawati: BSP chief threatens to quit RS, if not allowed to speak

Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati today threatened to resign from Rajya Sabha after which she was not to speak in the house.

Mayawati said she will not be allowed to speak about the incidents of violence against Dalits and other minorities she would quit from the Rajya Sabha.

Mayawati said, “let me speak or else I will resign from the Rajya Sabha”.

“I have no moral right to be in the House if I am not allowed to put across my views on atrocities being committed against Dalits”, she added.

Following this, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi asked Mayawati to apologize for allegedly insulting the house.
