Modi Government launched, two new schemes named, ‘Lucky Grahak Yojna’ and ‘Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojna’ to promote cashless transactions.
As after the announcement of Demonetisation huge number of people has been shifted to E– commerce and M- commerce mode of Transactions. Keeping this in mind government is also encouraging digital mode of payment.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took twitter to inform public about the new schemes, he tweeted ….. “A Christmas gift to remember … These 2 schemes will further incentivise digital payments ” along with the advertisement of the schemes”.

Every segment of the society can avail these schemes but it is mainly intended for small or weaker class of the society as ‘Lucky Grahak Yojna’ and ‘Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojna’, will cover small transactions from Rs 50 to 3000.
Lucky Grahak Yojna is for consumers and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojna for the merchants. To encourage digital transaction, government has also decided to give mega cash prizes on daily and weekly basis to consumers and merchants.
First lucky draw is going take place on the eve of Christmas i.e. December 25 and the mega draw on April 14, the birth anniversary of B R Ambedkar.
