Mumbai: Congress headquarters vandalised at Azad Maidan

As per the recent reports, some unknown persons reportedly vandalized the Mumbai Regional Congress Committee office at Azad Maidan on Friday morning.

Later, a party official confirmed the news in front of media.

The incident took place at around 8 pm when the cleaning work was underway where a half a dozen people were reportedly barged inside.

Following the incident, three-person were arrested, said police official.

It was reported that the person used sticks to destroy glass cabins, fittings and furniture of the office before leaving.

It was learned that around 10-12 people forcefully entered the premises.

A team of Mumbai Police rushed to the spot for investigating into the matter.

Soon after, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has claimed the responsibility for the attack.

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) said their workers 10-12 people forcefully has vandalized the Congress headquarters.

However, there were no casualties reported in the incident.
