Mumbai: Girl abducted who was pushed into sex trade 16-years ago

The Kashimira police in  Maharashtra has allegedly arrested a 44-year-old woman, who has allegedly kidnapped a newborn girl 16-years ago and forced her into the sex business.

It was reported that anti-human trafficking cell carried out a raid at a house on Sunday evening, where the officials found a girl with two men in a room in the district’s Mira Road area.

It was learned that the woman was arrested on Sunday night.

Following the incident, the girl was sent to the rehabilitation centre in Thane.

Police have registered the case under the IPC sections 363 (kidnapping), 370 (buying or disposing of any person as a slave), 365 (kidnapping or abducting with an intent to secretly and wrongfully confine a person, 366-A (procuration of minor girl), 372 (selling minor for purpose of prostitution.
