Muzaffarnagar: Woman gang-raped at gunpoint

In a horrific incident,  a  25-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped at gunpoint in front of her husband and child in Muzaffarnagar district on Friday.

The incident took place on Friday night where a woman was allegedly tied, beaten up and reportedly gang-raped in front of her husband Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district.

It was reported that the four men allegedly stopped the bike in which victim along with her husband and child was traveling, dragged her to nearby sugar cane farms and assaulted her.

It was learned that men also threatened her husband not to disclose the incident to anyone.

While speaking to the media, the victim said,“Four men dragged me to a sugar cane farm and raped me. They constantly threatened to kill my child, also tied and beat up my husband. The men also constantly threatened to kill my child”.

Following the incident, both the victim and her husband have undergone the medical examination.

Ajay Sehdev, Superintendent of Police (SP) said in a statement,”The incident happened when the woman was returning from a village with her husband and three-month-old child on a motorbike. A FIR has been registered in this case; medical examination of both the victim and her husband is being done; also investigation is underway”.

Although, a FIR has been registered by the police officials.

However, the investigation is in progress to nab the four accused.
