The national green tribunal (NGT) has reportedly holds the ban on construction activities in Delhi-NCR.
The bench also allowed the entry of trucks in the national capital and reportedly asked the authorities to track their movement.
Following this, the green panel allegedly refused to hold the ban on industries activities as it is causing air pollution in the Delhi- NCR.
A bench headed by NGT Chairperson Justice Swatanter Kumar said in a statement, “All directions in relation to emissions from industry, burning of waste and crop residue shall continue to be enforced”.
The national green tribunal (NGT) has allegedly asked the neighboring states which include Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan to take necessary steps to curb air pollution within two weeks.
Adding further to this, the bench said, it will hear Delhi government’s second plea on odd-even today.
