Noida-Greater Noida Bus service is all to set begin

The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) is all set to begin their bus services from today onward.

At initial stage, there are 20 buses are deployed on six routes from Botanical Garden Metro station.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will inaugurate the facility from Lucknow on a video conference. Managing director of NMRC Santosh Yadav, will flag off the bus service in Noida.

Bus services will provide connectivity to most of the residential and industrial areas between Noida and Greater Noida as there are number of people including employees and students who commute on the daily basis from Greater Noida to Noida.

Bus service will provide connectivity to residential areas located in sectors including 38A, 29, 37, 18, 2, 3, 6, 21A, 44, 40, 41, 39, 50, 51, 53 and 33, among others.

According to the sources, bus service was proposed 30 months ago but due to long procedure and approvals of the project it got delayed.

Bus is full of innovations including an electric ticketing machine to collect fares and issue tickets , panic button and many more. Bus fare will range from ₹10 to ₹50 and depending upon the distance will be charged.
