The Pakistan Foreign Office today allowed Kulbhushan Jadhav to meet his wife on humanitarian grounds.
Pakistan said in a statement “The Government of Pakistan has decided to arrange a meeting of Commander Kulbhudhan Jhadev (sic) with his wife, in Pakistan, purely on humanitarian grounds. A Note Verbale to this effect has been sent to the Indian High Commission in Islamabad, today.”
Jadhav was sentenced to death in Pakistan for alleged spying by the military this April, which prompted India to move International Court of Justice.
In a big win for Jhadav, his family and all the Indian, ICJ stayed the execution of alleged spy till it reached its final verdict.
The Indian national, who is a former Indian Navy officer, was arrested in March last year on charges espionage and alleged spy, which New Delhi is denying and making all the efforts to bring back Jadhav to his country.
