Pakistan: Kulbhushan to meet wife, mother on Dec 25

As per the recent reports, Pakistan has reportedly granted permission to the Kulbhushan Jadhav’s mother and wife to meet him on December 25

It was reported that the Pakistan foreign office has allowed Jadhav to meet his wife and mother on December 25.

Following this, Pakistan has granted the visa to Jadhav’s mother and wife to visit the country and meet Kulbhushan on December 25.

The Pakistani military had said in a statement, “RAW agent Commander Kulbhushan Sudhir Jadhav was tried by FGCM under section 59 of Pakistan Army Act (PAA) 1952 and Section 3 of official Secret Act of 1923. FGCM [Field General Court Martial] found Kulbhushan Sudhir Jadhav guilty of all the charges”.

It has come as a surprise move, that Pakistan will allow convicted Indian death row prisoner Kulbhushan Jadhav to meet his family.

Raveesh Kumar, MEA spokesperson said in a statement, “It is a good news, we had been seeking access, we are happy that our request has been considered”.

It was learned that earlier India has requested Islamabad to grant the visa to his mother and wife on humanitarian grounds.

It was further added, “Pakistan government has assured the safety of mother and wife of Kulbhushan Jadhav during their stay in Pakistan”.
