Taking a jibe at opposition party, while addressing rally at Meerut on Saturday ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls Prime Minister Modi asked People to choose between SCAM and BJP.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi SCAM for the Samajwadi Party, Congress, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and BSP chief Mayawati.

“Do you know what ‘scam’ stands for? It is ‘S’ for Samajwadi Party, ‘C’ for Congress, ‘A’ for Akhilesh and ‘M’ for Mayawati,” Said PM Modi.

PM Modi also attacked opposition parties over several issues, but his SCAM comment is rolling out across the country.

Following this, opposition party leaders also attacked back. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Akhilesh Yadav replied by saying we need to save country especially names starting from A (Amit Shah) and M (Narendra Modi).

BSP chief Mayawati lashed out at SCAM comment by saying “it is unbecoming of a person sitting on the post of Prime Minister to take names of individuals for his political fight..it shows his petty casteist mentality.”

Congress Spokesperson Tom Vadakkan said “The Prime Minister is very keen to use English abbreviations and he used ‘SCAM’ to attack his political rivals. We will tell you what ‘SCAM’ means in Hindi — it is ‘Satta bhogi, captee dhongi Amit Shah Modi’.”
