President Pranab Mukherjee , Prime Minister expresses deep sorrow on Jayalalithaa demise

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa also known as ‘Amma’ for millions passes away at 68 late on Monday evening , after being admitted to Apollo hospital reports says she was undergoing from the treatment of cardiac failure.

The 68-year-old Jayalalithaa was admitted to Chennai’s Apollo Hospital on September 22,  after which she was  grumbled of fever dehydration and congestion and has been under intensive care.

If reports are to be believed, the hospital announced the confirmation of her death at around 11.30 pm on Monday.

Apollo Hospital had issued a press release which says,”It was with indescribable grief we announce the sad demise of our esteemed Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Puratchi Thalaivi Amma at 1130 PM today.”

Following to this president Pranab Mukherjee and prime minister remembering the leader tweeted and condolences the demise of Jayalalithaa.

My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Tamil Nadu in this hour of grief.

May the Almighty grant them the strength to bear this irreparable loss with courage and fortitude.
